Following the close of member voting last week, we are pleased to announce the confirmation of the thirteen USAEE members who will serve on the 2026 USAEE Council:

Members voted for a slate of eleven nominees in addition to Greg Upton, who will transition from President-Elect to President in 2026, and current President Dean Foreman, who will serve as Immediate Past President beginning in January.

Among those elected, two — Amanda Harker Steele and Nathaniel Gilbraith — will join the Council for the first time, while eleven current members will continue their service. Collectively, the 2026 Council reflects a strong cross-section of expertise from academia, industry, and government.

We offer our sincere thanks and congratulations to all members of the incoming Council. We are also grateful to the many USAEE members who participated in this year’s election and helped shape the leadership for 2026.
