This session brings together experts to examine the evolving pressures on energy supply chains and their implications for investment, reliability, and economic growth. Panelists will discuss how shifting energy markets, infrastructure needs, emerging technologies, and changing demand patterns are affecting the development and resilience of energy systems.

Panelists
Vipul Agarwal is currently Market Intelligence Manager for Supply Chain Management at Chevron. He holds a BE in Electrical Engineering from India and an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University. He is a seasoned SCM practitioner with over 25 years of experience across supply chain- category management, sourcing, contracting, and project execution. He has worked 21 years with Chevron in roles across Corporate SCM, major capital projects, and global upstream assets.

Pritesh Patel is an executive director with the Costs and Supply Chain team at S&P Global Energy. Mr. Patel is an expert in onshore and offshore oil and gas development analysis, business strategy development, forecasting, and worldwide industry issues and trends. He has over 15 years of experience in domestic and international project management and strategic consulting. Mr. Patel is responsible for analyzing global costs markets and monitoring emerging strategic trends for the S&P Global Upstream Costs Services. 

David Weeks is Industry Practice Lead for Supply Chain Risk Management at Moody’s Analytics, bringing more than 20 years of experience in quality management, operational resilience, enterprise risk, and supply chain. David advises global enterprises and government organizations on third-party risk, predictive analytics, and early-warning intelligence across complex, highly regulated supply chains. David helps organizations translate geopolitical, cyber, operational, and financial risk signals into actionable strategies.

Moderator
Amy Brock is an accomplished energy industry professional with over 30 years of experience in market intelligence, category management, analysis, and business analytics. As Market Intelligence Advisor at Chevron, she led a team delivering strategic research, benchmarking, and insights that drive data-driven decisions across the company.  Amy is now working in Markets Economics Price with a focus on Natural Gas and LNG.
